This Importance of Hepatitis Test Before Married



Hepatitis virus can be transmitted through various ways, one of them through sexual intercourse. In order to prevent contagion, Chairman of the Indonesian Heart Research Association, Irsan Hasanepat bride candidates conducted a hepatitis test before marriage.

By conducting hepatitis tests, said Irsan, the prospective couple will know the condition of each. If hepatitis test results contain one person who contains hepatitis B can be treated first.

"Jika terkena hepatitis B, perlu divaksin untuk memberikan perlindungan," kata Irsan saat ditemui usai acara "Peranan Uji Diagnostik dalam Memerangi Hepatitis" di Jakarta ditulis Jumat (27/7/2018). 
Pemberian vaksin diperlukan agar pasangan tidak tertular, selain itu, jika sudah menikah, bayi yang akan dilahirkan pun tidak tertular hepatitis B.
Di Indonesia, tercatat sebagian besar kasus hepatitis B terjadi karena keturunan. Penularan lewat darah ibu saat melahirkan bayinya.
